Sheryl D. Spikes, Ed.S.
Chief Educational Impact Officer, Owner
Smyrna, GA
Sheryl Spikes is a Georgia native who has lived in the Atlanta, GA area for the last 25 years. She has served as a coach/Senior Coach, Professional Development Specialist on the District Partnerships team at EL Education for 3 years. Prior to joining EL Education, Sheryl was a classroom teacher for 21 years in multiple Georgia counties where she taught PreK-2nd grade students. She was a founding member and instructional coach at Hollis Innovation Academy in Atlanta for 6 years where she experienced how the effective implementation of the EL Education curriculum could change the trajectory of students’ lives and the community at large. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree at Walden University where she is majoring in P-20 Education. Her anticipated graduation date is June 2027. She is the mother of 2 sons, Michael, Jr. and Jordan Alexander who are the epitome of college and career readiness. Sheryl enjoys spending time with her close-knit family and friends, loves to travel, and enjoys cooking, and binge watching her favorite old school shows.

Jennifer Harrison
Professional Development Specialist

Jennifer Harrison has been an educator for thirty years and is currently working alongside teachers as an instructional coach in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her passion is ensuring that students receive the most effective and developmentally appropriate instruction that meets their academic and social-emotional needs. Prior to her current role, Jennifer taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades in both Los Angeles City Schools and in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she also served as a literacy specialist. She loves reading biographies and historical fiction and enjoys hiking in the mountains.

Marchalena Caldwell
Professional Development Specialist
Jonesboro, GA
Marchalena Caldwell is a Texas native, raised in Georgia and has lived in Georgia for 40 years. She has served as a classroom special education teacher of students with disabilities (K-6) for 16 years in multiple Georgia counties. Currently she is serving as a Student Support Facilitator at the high school level. In this role, Marchalena manages compliance of special education documentation for state reporting, facilitates training for teachers in High Leverage Practices and writing legally defensible IEPs with transition plans. Marchalena loves warm climates and the beach. She enjoys attending sporting events and binge-watching new shows and discovering old shows that she missed during their airtime.

Kydia McCoy, Ed. D.
Senior Professional Development Specialist
Charlotte, NC
Dr. Kydia L. McCoy is an educator of more than 25 years with various experiences as an educational trainer bringing valuable experience in administrative roles, including program coordinator, elementary education assistant principal, and classroom teacher from K-12 to higher education related organizations. She received her Ed.D. from Gardner-Webb University in Organizational Leadership. Currently, she serves as the Grant Project Facilitator at an elementary school, supporting the school’s reading curriculum. She is also an entrepreneur that is committed to improving lives, enhancing families and building a strong community. At the end of most days, Dr. Kydia finds solace in taking walks and listening to various podcasts.

Wanda Williams, Ed. D.

Dr. Wanda Williams has been a dedicated educator for over 20 years. Holding a doctorate in Instructional Leadership, she is passionate about fostering academic excellence, promoting innovative teaching strategies, and enhancing student engagement. Throughout her career, Dr. Williams has served in various roles, including special education teacher, instructional coach, curriculum developer, and professional development specialist. With a deep commitment to the success of all students, she collaborates with all stakeholders to drive meaningful change. Dr. Williams resides in the metro Atlanta area with her husband and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family, movie binging, and shopping.
